Who is responsible

LearnLoom Consultants and an independent recruitment agent for London School of Planning and Management, of Hong Kong, Hong Kong SAR, is the data controller for this website and for the enquiries it receives. contact us via Enquiry form about anything in this notice.

Where your data is processed

We are based in Hong Kong, so anything you send through this site is processed outside the United Kingdom and the European Union. For readers in the UK or the EU that is an international transfer of personal data. The transfer is necessary to carry out the request you make when you send the form, and we hold what you send to the standard the UK GDPR requires: on access-controlled systems, for the purposes stated here only, for the retention period stated here, and with the rights set out below available to you in full. If you would rather not send your details outside the UK, you can contact LSPM's admissions team directly at the London address below and bypass us entirely.

London School of Planning and Management ([LSPM legal entity name]), Office 7, 35-37 Ludgate Hill, London EC4M 7JN, is a separate data controller. It receives your details from us only in the circumstances set out below and then handles them under its own privacy notice, which it publishes on its website.

The enquiry form

The form collects your name, email address, telephone number if you give one, country, the programme you are asking about, your study preferences and any message. We use these to answer your question and, if you ask for it, to arrange a call. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to a request you made. We keep enquiries for twelve months from our last exchange and then delete them.

Passing your details to LSPM

If you tell us you want to apply, or you ask us to put you in touch with the centre, we send your name, contact details, the programme and a summary of what we discussed to LSPM's admissions team in London so that they can take your application forward; for LSPM the purpose is admissions. That is the only reason we share them. We do not pass enquiries to LSPM speculatively, we do not sell or rent them, and we do not add anyone to a mailing list. You should know that LSPM pays us a fee if you subsequently enrol; that fee does not change what you pay.

Analytics

This site currently sets no analytics or advertising cookies. If analytics is introduced we will ask for consent first and update this section.

Live chat. When live chat is enabled on this site, a chat widget supplied by London School of Planning and Management (LSPM), the approved centre, is loaded from its provider (webchat.saaclabs.com) on every page. The widget stores a session identifier in your browser's local storage and sends the address of the page you are on and the referring page to that provider so that a conversation can be continued across pages. Anything you type in the chat goes to LSPM's admissions team, not to us, and is handled under LSPM's own privacy notice.

Server logs

The hosting provider keeps ordinary web server logs (IP address, pages requested, browser type) for security and fault-finding, and deletes them after thirty days.

Your rights

You may ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our using it, through the enquiry form. We answer within one month. Once your details have been passed to LSPM, requests about LSPM's copy go to LSPM at LSPM's website; we will tell you when a transfer has happened so you know whom to ask. If you are unhappy with either response, the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk handles complaints.
