Procedure

Complaints and appeals

Two organisations are involved in your journey, so there are two routes. Which one you use depends on what went wrong.

Route one: about this site or our advice

If the complaint is about something on this website, about how we handled your enquiry, about advice we gave you, or about the way your details were passed to LSPM, it is ours to answer.

  1. Tell us. Use Enquiry form with "Complaint" in the subject line, the page or conversation concerned, and what you would like to happen. We acknowledge within three working days.
  2. Written answer. We reply in full within fifteen working days. If we got something wrong we will say so, correct the page or the record, and tell you what we have changed.
  3. If you are still unhappy. Because we act as LSPM's agent, you may raise our conduct with LSPM itself at LSPM's website. Misleading advertising can also be reported to the Advertising Standards Authority, and data-handling concerns to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Route two: about teaching, assessment, admissions, fees or certificates

Anything that happens after you apply belongs to London School of Planning and Management. That includes an admissions decision, an invoice or refund, the quality of tuition or support, a mark, an assessment decision, a delay in verification, or a certificate. We have no standing in those matters and cannot overturn them; what we can do is make sure you reach the right person quickly.

  1. LSPM's own procedure. LSPM publishes a complaints policy and an academic appeals procedure for its learners. Start there, in writing, through LSPM's student services or admissions team at LSPM's website or by telephone on +44 (0)20 3868 8831. Ask for a copy of the procedure if you were not given one at enrolment.
  2. The awarding body. OTHM and Qualifi each publish a complaints policy covering their approved centres. You may go to them once LSPM's procedure is exhausted, or sooner if the matter concerns malpractice or maladministration. Their contact details are on othm.org.uk and qualifi.net.

Not sure which route?

Write to us anyway. If it is LSPM's matter we will say so, give you the right contact and, with your permission, let LSPM know to expect you.

Corrections to the site

A factual error, a broken link or an accessibility problem is not a complaint in the formal sense; just send the page address to Enquiry form and it is usually fixed within a week.
